Perry Appoints Delisi and Meadows To Transportation Commission
As expected, Governor Perry appointed his former Chief of Staff, Deirdre Delisi, and North Texas Tollway Authority board member Bill Meadows to positions on the Texas Transportation Commission. One fills the seat that was vacated with Chairman Williamson’s untimely passing, and the other thumps Hope Andrade from the board, a move that has the south Texas region throwing their arms in the air wanting to know just what in the hell they did to piss off the governor.
Those faint cries of human anguish you are hearing, those are the cries of Mike Krusee, wondering what in the hell he is suppose to do now.
Chin up, Mike. Your constituents may have grown tired of you and Governor Perry apparently has already forgotten your name, but I still love ya.
