I’ve Got A Letter…You’ve Got A Letter…Everyone’s Got A Letter!!!!

So Lon Burnam has a letter on Ghost-Gate, Garnet Coleman has a letter on Ghost-Gate, my sister is drafting her own, and rumor has it that Stephen F. Austin is going to weigh in from the grave.  Seriously…is this how the House keeps themselves busy during the downtime?  Can we please get to the November general that way our Honorable House Members will have something worthwhile to fight over?

Thank God for the Senate.  Thank the Lord for at least one body who, on the surface, appears sane.  And do you know why the Senate keeps a sane image?  THEY DON”T AIR THEIR DIRTY LAUNDRY!!!!  The Senate works their differences out behind closed doors.  What they don’t do is bicker over who said what and who is doing this or that while the whole state watches.

It’s no wonder there are those out there who have no faith in their elected leaders.  After watching this fourth grade display from our Texas House, I find myself questioning my very own.

Every House member who has directed their Ghost Staff to draft a letter on the House hiring practices and send it to Harvo needs to step away for a second, have a drink, and think long and hard about if what they are doing is the productive thing to do.  The reason this remains a story is because the Members are making it stay a story through their off the deep end behavior.

Handle it in house, guys.  All you are doing is making yourselves look foolish.

This is getting ridiculous! My folder of documents on ghost-gate is almost an inch thick. Come on folks, session is almost here and we got to get ready to pass some bills - margin tax fix, CPS bill, state school bill, electric problems in wholesale market. It is about time to resurrect the ghosts so they can get to work on the 81st.
