Looks Like The Republicans Got Something Right

So all I hear these days on the liberal blogs is how the Republican leadership is to blame for this and that.  It’s the Republicans fault that health insurance ratios aren’t at ten thousand percent.  They are also to blame for Democrats not being able to lower the price of gas.  And in case you didn’t know, Republicans also are at fault for your friend failing the fourth grade, and Republicans did, in fact, kill your pet dog.

With all this liberal propaganda responsible journalism, it sure has been a tough stretch to be a Republican.  But per Forbes.com, we finally got something right.  Of America’s 10 most recession-proof cities, 4 lie within the Texas border.

Yes, as it turns out, it was not a lie.  We are weathering the recession storm quite well, and the pro-economic growth initiatives set forth by Republican leadership are to thank.  Just ask San Antonio, Austin, Houston, and Dallas.  Because according to unemployment rates, job growth, median home price, and estimated gross metropolitan product growth, those before mentioned cities are four of the places you want to be right now.

So liberals, while you blame Republicans for your grass being too tall, your brother ripping the head off of your barbie doll, your homework not being done, and for that spat you had with your neighbor over who parks their car where, be sure to also thank Republicans for the job you have, the roof over your head, and for the robust state economy that we are all benefiting from.

Because, as it turns out, a whole bunch of other states have it a lot worse.
