I’m Not Usually One to Gloat, But…
I can’t help myself with this one. I’m sure troubled by the discrepancies between their own US Senate poll and Mr. Mike Baselice’s take on Texas’ Senate race, Rasmussen decided to go back to the drawing board and try it again. After conducting a second poll, Rasmussen confirmed what Mr. Baselice already knew, that Senator Cornyn is enjoying a 16 or more point lead over his democrat challenger.
This has to be a tough pill for democrats to swallow, especially given that the recent Rasmussen poll again confirms that Noriega is having some base problems within his own liberal party. Man, I really feel sorry for all those suckers who gave money to Noriega thinking that he was within an arm’s reach of winning this election. Turns out that that arm’s reach is more like a Hail Mary.
Now, I certainly expect that this race will conclude much closer than 17 points, just so we are clear. But what this second Rasmussen poll tells us is that Rick Noriega has a long and hard road before him if he is to pull this out. Perhaps I was right in my earlier post, maybe Rasmussen’s first poll was just limited to voters in Noriega’s House District.
Hey, BOR, I’ll be watching for your instant overage of the results on this second poll, just like you did with the first. Don’t let me down.
