Spring Crappie Fishing
A windy day in Kansas in the middle of March. Bass fishing hasnt started yet so i decided some ultra lite crappie fishing would be fun. I was using a chartruse roadrunner jig for all of the fish i caught. All of my footage was shot using a Go Pro Hero HD.

Tackle for dead 'ard course fish?
Started fishing a new venue recently, unlike anywhere I’ve been before with double figure carp and big tench. I float fish with 8lb line and a size 16 hook but my line either gets demolished in the fight, torn on lilies or is just nowhere near tough enough to pull the fish without breaking.
What kind of line (strength, brand?) should I be using, bearing in mind I only want to float fish?
I should add that when I say float fish I meant waggler… as in fishing off the bottom…
