A couple things not clear in video – ‘my lake’ is shallow and this is how I fish when using a spinning rod n reel. Also I set the cork depth about 1 ft deep since I’m fishing in 2-3 ft water – usually from bank or my fishing pier. When I fish in channel from boat – I use regular jig skirts like the blue and white ones in the box – plus – I fish straight down – tight line / no cork eg this video is how I fish around my brush pile in front of my house Not saying the jig head / squirmin grub will work as well in deep lakes or from a boat – but sure works well at Lake Conway in Arkansas IMHO
