If I catch a billfish on a charter fishing trip, do I get value of fish deducted from cost?
I recently chartered a boat and caught several fish including a large (400+lb) marlin. The captain just took the fish and didn’t offer me any money for it even though I am sure he sold it for meat, etc. I don’t fish a lot so pls tell me if the captain should have deducted the value of the fish from my bill.
